MCWC is actively recruiting Bachelor’s and Master’s level interns for the Fall 2026 semester.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, our mission is to lead the effort in preventing domestic violence and sexual assault through crisis intervention, assistance, advocacy, empowerment, and social change. To better serve our community and provide a more comprehensive learning experience for students, we have expanded our internship opportunities.
Available Placement Departments
We are currently accepting applications for the following areas:

Emergency Shelter: Direct client support in a crisis environment.

Community Outreach: Prevention education and community engagement.

Hospital Advocacy: Providing immediate support to survivors in medical settings.

Legal Services: Navigating the justice system and protective orders.

Case Management: Long-term empowerment and resource coordination.
Why Intern with MCWC?
Students will gain hands-on experience in a trauma-informed environment. Our comprehensive service model includes a 24-hour crisis hotline, transitional housing, counseling, and advocacy, offering students a holistic view of social work and advocacy in action.
