Counseling & Support Groups
Our Counseling Program is committed to helping create and preserve healthy families by assisting survivors of family and sexual violence at any point in the healing process.
Our staff of licensed social workers, licensed counselors, and interns assist with the following:
Individual and group counseling are provided to primary and secondary survivors of family and/or sexual violence. Services are provided to females, males, gender minorities, and both children and adults. Counseling services are available to clients at no cost.
WALK-INS ARE WELCOME FOR COUNSELING

Support Group Schedule
The Montgomery County Women’s Center also offers support groups for survivors of family and sexual violence. If you have any questions about our group meetings, or if you wish to schedule a counseling session, please contact the Counseling Office at: (936) 441-4044 ext. 23.

RISE: Reclaim Independence Seek Empowerment
- This group is for adult female victims/ survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault (open group).
- The group will combine psychoeducation and support group methods.
- We meet from 12-1 on Wednesdays

- Adults Molested as Children (Adult Females Only)
- Thursday 6pm-7:30pm – (Psychoeducation/Support Group )
