On April 3, 2023 we hosted the IN THEIR SHOES display at the Montgomery County Courthouse, in Downtown Conroe. We displayed 819 pairs of shoes in front of the courthouse to represent the victims of sexual assault in our community that we accompanied in 2022.

In 2022, MCWC Advocates provided medical accompaniment to 819 victims of sexual assault in our community. We respond 24/7 to requests for medical accompaniment for forensic examinations. Our advocates are a vital resource and an agent of hope when they accompany survivors to forensic exams, police stations, and court hearings. Providing information, validation, and encouragement, they empower survivors to reclaim control and recognize their strengths and worth.
