Chances are someone in your life is a survivor of sexual harassment, assault, or abuse, even if they have never shared their story with you. Show your support for survivors of sexual harassment and abuse by wearing teal — the color of sexual violence prevention — on April 2nd and post a selfie to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram and tagging Montgomery County Women’s Center. By wearing teal, you (and your team) are signaling that you support survivors, and are a safe person to talk to if they need to reach out.
April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. We are asking local Conroe businesses, community organizations and groups to join us on GO TEAL DAY to show their support of survivors of sexual assault in our community. We will provide:
- Lapel Ribbons for Staff to Wear
- We Stand With Survivors Window Display (Flyer)
