DESCRIPTION:MCWC is actively recruiting Bachelor’s and Master’s level interns for the Fall 2026 semester. \nAs a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization\, our mission is to lead the effort in preventing domestic violence and sexual assault through crisis intervention\, assistance\, advocacy\, empowerment\, and social change. To better serve our community and provide a more comprehensive learning experience for students\, we have expanded our internship opportunities. \n\nAvailable Placement Departments\nWe are currently accepting applications for the following areas: \nEmergency Shelter: Direct client support in a crisis environment. \nCommunity Outreach: Prevention education and community engagement. \nHospital Advocacy: Providing immediate support to survivors in medical settings. \nLegal Services: Navigating the justice system and protective orders. \nCase Management: Long-term empowerment and resource coordination. \nWhy Intern with MCWC?\nStudents will gain hands-on experience in a trauma-informed environment.
